We are delighted to offer you a very special opportunity to join us for an evening with Dan Biggar – to celebrate his career and ‘Life at Number 10’ in the famous Welsh jersey.
The evening in support of Awyr Las – children’s ward Ysbyty Gwynedd will be hosted by former Wales International Rupert Moon and will be held at the historic four star AA accredited Celtic Royal Hotel, Caernarfon on Friday 20th April 2018.
Dan Biggar made his debut at the age of 19 for Wales against Canada in 2008 and has played an integral part in the resurgence of Welsh rugby during these times. Highlights include being part of the victorious 2013 Six Nations Championship campaign, starting all five games at fly half.
In the 2015 Rugby World Cup, Biggar took over the kicking duties after Leigh Halfpenny was ruled out of the whole tournament. Biggar kicked 56 points during the tournament including 23 points in Wales’ 28–25 win over England, and claimed the Man of the Match accolade.
Biggar has his own routine before kicking goals, which fans now call “The Biggarena” after Los Del Rio’s 1995 hit, Macarena.
Dan has played 60 games for Wales in a remarkable career totalling 295 points. He also toured for the successful British and Irish Lions tour to NZ in 2017.
On 7 December 2015, Biggar won the BBC Cymru Sports Personality of the Year Award joining some illustrious names in Welsh sport.
The evening will commence at 7:30pm and will include a sumptuous two-course dinner, charitable raffle and auction.
